NDPS Peer Mentors
New to our school is our Peer mentoring program. This is a supportive role in school for children age 10 plus. They follow a seven week training program where they learn about how to support other children with worries and difficulties they may be having. The program covers a wide variety of skills they need to undertake their role such as, boundaries and confidentiality.
They will then begin their supportive role around school, helping children with personal difficulties under the guidance of Marie and Mrs Sawyer.
