PSHE Progression Map

 

At New Delaval Primary School our Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) aims to provide children in all year groups with the knowledge they need for their life in our school and beyond. Their PSHE education will encourage children to ask questions. Pupils will leave New Delaval Primary School prepared for high school, with a good knowledge about themselves and the wider world.

 

Intent - A citizen at New Delaval Primary School should:

 

  • Embrace differences.
  • Ask questions and show fascination of the world around them.
  • Show empathy.
  • Be open-minded to other cultures and societies.
  • Be self-aware.
  • Show respect for themselves, other people, animals and their environment.
  • Have an understanding of their identity.
